Is the showroom open by appointment only?
Due to rising utility prices, our showroom is unprecedentedly busy. At this time, in order to provide you with the best personal service, we are and will remain open strictly by appointment only. Appointments can only be made by emailing us.

If my house does not have a chimney, can I still install a wood- burning stove?
Yes. We can install an insulated flue system to ventilate your stove.

Are your stoves environmentally friendly?
Yes. All of our stoves are eco-design ready.

What is the process for first-time stove buyers?
Please contact us with your name, address, contact number and photograph of your fireplace and chimney stack on your roof, (if you have one.) If you do not currently have a chimney, please send us a photograph of inside, where you would like to place the stove, and outside where the flue would go.

What is the average cost of your stoves?
The costs of our stoves range from £700 – £2500.

What is the average price of installing a stove?
The average cost for installation range from £1000 to £2800 plus VAT.

Are wood-burning stoves cheaper than gas fires?
Yes. With the recent increased cost of gas, wood-burning stoves are proving to be a much more cost effective way of heating your home.

Do you carry stoves in stock, ready for installation?
Yes! We supply over 200 stove models and currently have over 60 stoves on display in our showroom.

How do I book an appointment at the showroom or arrange a survey?

What is a multi-fuel stove?
As the name suggests, a multi-fuel stove allows you to burn more than just wood as fuel in your stove. You can also use coal, peat, smokeless fuel as well as logs. A wood-burning stove can only be used to burn logs.

Is a log burner a good investment?
Absolutely! They can come with an expensive set-up cost. However, in the long run, they will certainly save you money on your heating bills.

What is the best way to clean my stove?
Carefully remove all ash from the stove. Take your time as this can be messy! Clean the glass using a stove glass cleaner. Use a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush attachment or a dry cloth to clean outside the stove.

How does the cost of a wood-burning stove compare to electric and gas heating?
A wood-burning stove costs about a third of the price of electric heating and approximately 13% less than gas central heating for the average household!

Is a wood-burning stove better for the environment than an open fire?
Yes. A modern efficient Ecodesign stove emits 80% less particulates into the atmosphere than an open fire and this assists in government’s clean air policies. Wood is also a renewable resource.
